Anchored aesthetics intention
There are many layers of intention behind Anchored aesthetics from the name of the product to the textured labels on the products, and of course the ingredients in the skincare range.
Anchored aesthetics the name came from the idea of creating an anchoring experience in the body.
What does this mean? using the product to create a ritual or experience that connects you deeper with your physical body.
Using the concept of somatic body anchors which can be a powerful tool to help us connect with our physical body and become more aware of our inner experiences. The process of body anchors involves using physical sensations or movements to anchor our attention in the present moment, which can help bring us back into the body.
One way to use somatic body anchors is to pay attention to the sensations in the different parts of the body, for example focusing on the feeling of your feet touching the ground and the contact points between, or the sensation of breath moving through the body. However the process is utilized, the main purpose is to bring focus to the body which helps regulate the nervous system.
Bringing the concept to the brand..
The use of textured labels on the products engages a multi sensory tactile experience, inviting you into the sense of touch as you hold the bottles serving as an anchor point while using the products. This is then layered with the smell and feel of the product as you use it, the act of using the products can be a somatic anchoring experience as you focus on the physical sensations of texture and the temperature of the product on the skin. Then layering in the connection to scent in the products bringing in another sense and creating a scent memory in the brain linked with a positive somatic experience as you create a daily ritual or experience with yourself using Anchored aesthetics.
The plants within the product add in another element or layer of connection and intention, connecting with the plant kingdom deepening our innate connection to nature and our innate healing abilities within.
Ingredients
All ingredients in products are natural and "clean" no hidden fake natural fragrances, no green washing. The scents in the products come from essential oils and the plants themselves.
The constituents of the plants are from extracts, tinctures (alcohol based extraction) and essential oils.
All ingredients are vegan, no animal testing, no animal cruelty. Preservatives in the products are plant derived or from the herbal tinctures in the products.
The products are also low in Polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFAS) which means less oxidization in the products and less preservatives needed to keep the products stable.
