Make you own clay mask

Making your own skin care can be simple and fun

Using clay in masks is not only detoxing for the skin but hydrating. Clay helps us bring in the earth element to our lives and enhances our connection with nature.

Key ingredients; bentonite clay, essential oils, herbs and flowers.

How to make your own clay mask

You can get away with 1 ingredient clay, there are various types you can use bentonite, french clay, white clay, zeolite clay. You can just simply mix the clay with water to form a paste making sure to use filtered or distilled water.

Lets get fancy simple but with extras


You will need

Bentonite clay

essential oils - citrus assists in exfoliation, florals (geranium, rose, chamomile,) are generally soothing, woods oils (spruce, cedarwood, sandalwood) are cleansing and soothing.

Herbal water or just filtered water (herbal tea infused in filtered water)

**don't use metal spoons to mix clay as this effects the clays ability to absorb toxins.


Start with a tablespoon of clay to a teaspoon of herbal water adding extra water as needed to form a paste.

add 2-3 drops of chosen essential oils.

mix to form a paste.

Apply to skin with a mask brush or fingers and let set for 10-15 minutes. Wash off with warm water and apply your serum, moisturizer or face oil.
