Preparing for changing seasons allows us to connect more deeply with the natural cycles of nature and allows us to intentionally connect with our bodies.

Starting a new skin care routine or revamping your current routine brings in a new energy for a new season. Focus on gentle exfoliation and hydration.

Thinking about Summer we think about the sunshine, the heat being out doors and fresh air. This is an energy we can tap into to bring in more vibrence and vitality into our daily life.

Bring in the Sun

Embracing the energy of summer to me means being outdoors as much as possible restoring our bodies vitamin D levels naturally by being in the sun. We can also boost our levels by supporting our liver and kidneys as this is where the action happens when the body is converting the exposure to the sun into vitamin D the body can utilise. So think nourishing the liver and hydration. Try superfeast mushroom powder jing to support the kidneys, another beautiful blend is I am Gaia.

Check the link for shroom, I'm not affiliated with superfeast but I am a big advocate for the products to support the body.

Move your lymph

Body brushing or the use of silicone massage cups helps stimulate the lymphatic system of the body which shift the stagnant energy we may have built up in the body.

Hydration.... yes we know it's important and more important in warmer weather to keep our bodies optimal function. Starting the day with warm water add in some lemon juice if you like helps hydrate the body and support the liver, kidneys and lymphatic system to gently move toxins from the body. This also kick starts digestion for the day.

Support your skin for the season change with body scrubs and nourish the skin with body oils or moisturizers. Our anchored aesthetics range in stock at the salon features yummy essential oils tropical vibes and is low tox and vegan.
